We are committed to your satisfaction. Returning a product can be stressful on customers so we’re here to help you get it right the first time. Our talented product experts are available to help you select the right product for your needs and application. We encourage you to take advantage of our expertise before making your purchase.

Howard’s accepts returns within seven (7) days of receipt of an item if the item has not been used. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and delivery charge. Custom special order items are final and non-refundable. Shipping, delivery, and install charges are not refundable. After the seven (7) day return period, products will be covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty. All returns and exchanges must be approved by a manager. Howard’s Appliances, Inc. reserves the right to deny any return. Exchanges due to service/repair issues will only be authorized if the manufacturer deems a product not repairable.

Seasonal items are final sale, non-refundable and not able to be returned or exchanged. 

Instant Rebates and Bundles

When an item with a qualifying instant rebate is returned, the instant rebate will be voided and also returned to the ticket. When a bundle/package is purchased and only part of the order is returned, the discount is void and the total discount will be deducted from the refund. For example; if a customer receives $200 in savings when purchasing a four-piece kitchen package and not all four items are returned, the $200 package savings will be subtracted from the refunded amount.

120-Night Sleep Guarantee

You’ll rest easy knowing your new mattress purchase from Howard’s is backed by our 120-Night Comfort Guarantee provided that:

      The mattress is not a floor sample, closeout, discontinued or special buy item
      A mattress protector was purchased on the original invoice
      The mattress set purchased was for $799 or more

All new mattresses have a break-in period of about 30 days. If you’re not completely satisfied with your new mattress after 30 days, Howard’s offers a one-time exchange. You may come back into Howard’s within 120 days of your original purchase and select a new mattress of equal or greater value, with the difference to be paid by the customer. A minimum of 25% restocking fee will be applied on all exchanges.

Box springs, adjustable bases and foundations cannot be returned or exchanged. Pillows, sheets and mattress protectors may only be returned within 7 days, provided they are still in their original packaging.

Any promotional items (i.e. pillows, box springs, mattress covers) will be charged full retail value if the new mattress selected does not currently qualify for the same promotion.

Note: Mattresses are non-returnable. Stained, soiled, damaged or mattresses missing the law label will void Howard’s 120-night comfort guarantee. Additionally, an inadequate bed frame will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Howard’s does not offer exchanges on mattresses due to incorrect sizes.
